Poster Explorations

Defining the Thesis

Design is no longer just about functionality, it’s about creating experiences that resonate with people on a deeper level. My thinking evolved as I moved from broad topics to focused statements that define my thesis direction.

Through iterative writing and visual exploration, I questioned how technology can move beyond utility to foster emotional connections, mindfulness, and presence in our daily lives.

The work on this page highlights a critical shift in design philosophy: moving from “form follows function” to “form follows emotion.” These explorations investigate how technology can become more human-centered, empathetic, and meaningful, reflecting not just our needs but also our stories and emotions.

“Form Follows Emotion”

This poster explores the shift in design philosophy from utilitarian function toward emotional resonance. The visuals emphasize the need for technology and products to evoke emotions, tell stories, and become extensions of ourselves.
